Monday Blues.

Spinning headache + fever + aching legs from all the kneeling yesterday. Badddd day to start the week I hope I get better by tomorrow!

Busy Days

Am living a busy life right now. Everyday is packed with tuition/driving/meeting friends, I'm happy. 

12.04.13 - 13.04.13: I've been bloating myself up for the past two days. Met Lixin before tuition yesterday to pass her cupcakes I baked for her birthday and ate ajisen. Bad choice despite the good food. I've no idea why I got SO full it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable after the meal. Contemplated whether to go for tuition and I decided to go for it! (after advice from Huihan haha) Too guilty and full I had to gym after tuition... and I did it! YAY :D Same case for today, had a late dinner with family at Eunos and I was SO full again. Drama part 2. Gymmed part 2 too hahaha. 

Ah Ma Bai Bai event is happening from Friday to tomorrow. Spent most of my time there after tuition, going through rituals and folding paper money. We got her a huge house and a huge car. I wonder how is she, please be happy wherever you are, <3.

11.04.13: Fun baking time with HH again! AND WE WERE SUCCESSFUL!!! YAY US. Proud proud #bakersforlife :D Met her at our usual favourite bakeking and bought our mixed rice lunch and off to baking!

Double Chocolate Oreo cupcakes for Lixin's birthday! Posted them on Insta thinking that LX doesn't check insta anymore but sadly... she checked and she knew. sigh hahaha. I suck at surprises. 

10.04.13 - 11.04.13: Cas came for a sleepover! :) All we did was: watched RM, caught up on life and slept late. A short but nice time :) 

10.04.13: Met up with PALT peeps @ i12 for a reallllllllly good movie, Saving General Yang, which was even better because I watched the drama and know the story so I'm not lost haha. We were T.T most of the time though, and we ran out of tissues HAHAHAHAHA. Had Manhatten 1-for-1 @ Bugis and Chewy Junior for dessert time! YUMMMMMY MAX. (even though I hate the cream and will take them out before eating hahaha.)

07.04.13: Rise and shine even before the sun was up! Woke at 5am+ to set off for a faraway place! Visiting my maternal Ah Ma and Ah Gong <3 I was really sleepy by the time we ended at noon time but tahan-ed till tuition ended at 4! Home sweet home after that. 

06.04.13: AIWEE'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! Met Aiwee and Lixin at Paya Lebar's Delifrance to nua till Tze ends her work! Headed to Aljunied to eat some good food at a famous Penang Restaurant but it was too packed and the queue was too long we headed for food court instead! Food was not bad too :)

Pathetic cakes I bought for Aiwee, so sorry it wasn't a proper cake because I had to hide it well in my bag and a normal cake will be too huge :( Sorry AW!

The usual people :* <3 Six years of birthday celebrations together and ten years with AW!

03.04.13: $$$$$ Collected our pay @ Airport for the last time with Tze and we decided to eat some yummeh food at HF Cafe! REALLY VERY YUMMEH. Curry Ramen with Chicken!!! Drools. Will be back for another plate!

02.04.13: A nua day at home before tuition at night! It was good with tea break from my bro (YAY): 

Done with update! Am giving up on March's updates I'm too lazy hahahaha. Tomorrow shall be a good day! :)

Spent the whole morning till noon with my dear grandma. Hahaha sounds creepy but I was hoping she was there even if we couldn't see her. Went to the temple and flooded the table with LOTS of food for her and my ah gong and ancestors. A feast hehe. Visited her tablet and urn too and it still kind of hurts. The scenes keep replaying in my head sometimes. Time flies so quickly, it's almost a year even though it feels like yesterday. 

In the temple, there will be a special table to put tablets for people who have just passed away recently. There was a lady standing at the exact same spot as where I was last year. She was holding flowers in her hand and looking at her grandpa lovingly. Her eyes were red and tears kept falling silently. Heartache watching her and I had to leave because I started tearing too and it would be strange if she saw me. Sigh. I guess... this is part of life and all we can do is to hope that they are in a better place now, isn't it.

Good Days

My idea of a good day: sleeping in all the way till noon time, rolling around in bed because of extreme laziness to get up, and finally getting out of bed because of hunger. Just drank my thick hot milo with floating milo bits hahaha (learnt from Chef Wang) and had a mini sausage croissant and mini sausage bread! YUMS. Now I'm munching on fried olive veg because my dad was craving for it so he decided to cook! Haha we always love the same type of food: olive veg, tau kua this kind of style. Oh not forgetting bruno mars playlist in the background, good day good day hehe.

Headed to town with Li Xin on the last Sunday of March (31.02.13) in high hopes for a good Vans sale but it turns out to be "Men's sportswear bazaar" at Taka hahaha. I ended up buying a formal shirt for dad as his very-early birthday present haha. Plopped around taka, eating yummy small foods like chicken stick and tako balls with our cups of mocha and honey&lemon! Shopped around for Ai Wee's present and by the time we explored the whole of H&M, the sky became dark and our stamina flew away haha. I bought a hair cuff, aw's present, lx's present and nail filler which reminded me of guitar days... miss those times :( Nonetheless, yay yay yay good retail therapy time! :D

Yesterday!!! Met Ai Wee at Parkway's Starbucks to nua around and wait for 2pm's tuition but it got cancelled! Ended up staying at Parkway all the way till 4pm when my dad was around the corner to pick me up (yay fate!!!). I didn't bring much to do because I thought tuition starts at 2 haha so we ended up talking most of the time... and eating yummy food again. I fail because yesterday was supposed to be the START OF JIAN FEI PART 2!!! Bad bad.

Today's going to be a relax~ Tuesday till tuition at night! Will finish up UTRP by today GO GO GO! >:)

Trust.

Today I realized and experienced how much I really trust a complete stranger.

Disappointingly, I've got to admit it's really quite... low. An indian girl came up to me while I was topping up my ez-link at Aljunied MRT after tuition today (loooooong ride from Whampoa Drive to Aljunied). She explained to me her story: coming from Malaysia to Singapore for an interview and losing her purse in a temple. So I told her to report the case and she said she did. There was one awkward silence because I think she doesn't really dare to ask so directly and I was trying to find out what was her main point. Then after that mini awkward silence I realised it's a money issue. Somehow, I decided to give her $5 and I also told her that I'm a student so I don't have much cash. Came home and told my mum what happened and my mum very quickly concluded that it's a scam.

Now I'm feeling sorry for the girl and mean for how low my trust is for her. And that being said, I really hope she's speaking the truth and I hope she finds her way back home.
